Saoud Al Riyami joined Ooredoo in 2009, bringing with him over 18 years of experience in commercial strategies including Sales and Marketing gained through his diverse career across various sectors, including hotel management and automobile sales. Since joining Ooredoo, Al Riyami has held several leadership positions, most notably as Head of Business Sales, then General Manager of the Commercial Unit, and eventually Chief of the Business and Wholesale Unit. Al Riyami was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer in August 2025. Mr. Saoud holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Sultan Qaboos University and has earned several professional leadership certifications from prestigious institutions, most notably Harvard Business School.
