Abdullah has been in the fiber sensing industry for over 18 years delivering complex technical solutions across EMEA and APAC. His journey began in 2006, working on early Distributed Temperature Sensing (DTS) installations across the Middle East and Central Asia for utilities and oil & gas customers. Since 2014, his work has focused primarily on utilizing Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) for large-scale deployments across pipelines, perimeter security, and rail networks. His portfolio includes managing sensing solutions for major railway lines, critical city perimeter security projects, and extensive cross-border oil and gas pipelines in Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Holding an MBA and PMP certification, Abdullah combines deep technical acumen with strategic delivery expertise to help operators protect their most vital assets at scale. Throughout his career, he has held key technical and commercial leadership roles with top OEMs in the fiber sensing industry, driving the adoption of sensing technology for critical assets.
